How to Activate Passkey in Mobee

How to Activate Passkey in the Mobee App

Passkey is available in the Mobee app version 1.9.0 and above, for devices with iOS 16 and above and Android OS 9 and above.


Step 1: Log into the Mobee app and open the Profile menu.

Step 2: Tap on the Security section.



Step 3: When you see the Passkey option, tap Activate.


Step 4: The Terms and Conditions pop-up will appear—read it carefully, check the approval box, then tap Continue.

Step 5: Perform verification using the existing 2FA (Google Authenticator or OTP).

Step 6: A Passkey pop-up will appear, tap Continue.

Step 7: Done! Your passkey is ready to be used for login, withdrawals, and verification without the need for a password, Google Authenticator, or OTP.


How to Activate Passkey on the Mobee Website

Here is how you can activate the passkey on the Mobee website:
Step 1: Go to the Security page, click "Activate". After that, check the approval box to proceed.



Step 2: Verify with the OTP sent to the email registered with Mobee..


Step 3: Proceed with running the passkey activation process.


Step 4: Done! Your passkey is ready to be used for login, withdrawals, and verification without the need for a password, Google Authenticator, or OTP.


Things to Consider
